These days, AI comes up everywhere: in the news, on YouTube, even in school homework and office work, right?
The best known of them are ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity AI.
Each of these four tools has a distinct personality, so the right choice depends on what you want to do!
Today I will explain the strengths and weaknesses of these four AIs, and which one suits whom, in a simple and fun way π
β 1. ChatGPT
π§ In a word: the conversational AI!
Strengths
- It talks like a person. Ask it casually and the answers just flow π©βπ«
- Versatile across writing, summarizing, translating and coding
- The free version (GPT-3.5) is pretty good, and the paid version (GPT-4) is great for advanced work
Weaknesses
- It is a bit slow to pick up the latest issues (for example, it may not know this morning's news)
- Sometimes it states wrong information as if it were true π
- It can be long-winded, which is a hassle when you need a short summary

Strengths
- Strong at analyzing complex documents and long texts

Weaknesses
- Some features are not yet available in Korea π’
- Because it is built around your Google account, it can feel a little less flexible
- Visual materials and image generation are limited

Weaknesses
- It cannot search the latest news or the web in real time
- Its Korean support can be somewhat weaker
- It does not support images or visual materials

Weaknesses
- Coverage of Korean websites is thin, so it has limits for searching Korean content
- It feels more like quick search than deep conversation, so immersive chats are hard
- There has been some legal controversy over copyright
